Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 7, 2025 | Last updated: October 7, 2025.
Introduction
Your privacy is of primary importance to us. This Privacy Policy describes what personal data is collected and processed by our project, including the VLesnix Guard bot (hereinafter — the "Services").
1. Information we collect
To ensure the full functionality of VLesnix Guard and perform its moderation tasks, we collect and process the following types of data:
Discord user information: We collect publicly available user identifiers (IDs) and their usernames. This is necessary to identify the author of a message and apply moderation actions.
Discord server information: We store the IDs and names of servers where the bot is installed. We may also collect statistical information, such as the number of members, for internal accounting and analytics.
Message metadata: We process information about which server and which channel a message subject to analysis was sent in.
Configuration data: Settings that you configure for VLesnix Guard on your server (for example, AI trigger thresholds, channels for logs).
2. How we use your data
The collected information is used exclusively for the following purposes:
For content moderation: The main purpose is real-time analysis of messages to detect and block content that violates your server's rules. This analysis is performed only on servers and in channels where you have enabled the corresponding moderation feature.
For logging: We provide server administrators with detailed reports of the bot's actions (blocked messages, author, reason) to ensure transparency of its operation.
For service administration: Information about servers (for example, the total number of servers where the bot operates) helps us monitor performance and scale the infrastructure.
3. Data storage and security
We retain the collected information only for as long as necessary to provide the stated functions. We apply commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data from loss, theft, as well as unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, or alteration.
4. Disclosure to third parties
We do not publish your personal data or transfer it to third parties, except when required by law.
5. External resources
Our Services may contain links to external websites that are not managed by us. Please note that we do not control the content or privacy policies of those sites and are not responsible for them.
6. Your rights and choices
You have the right to refuse to provide your personal data; however, in that case we may not be able to provide certain features to you.
You can request the complete deletion of all data related to your server at any time. To do so, please contact us via our support server or by email.
7. Acceptance of the policy
Further use of our project, website, and related resources will be considered your unconditional acceptance of our privacy and personal data processing policy.
